A quick layout with Ashley on my old banana seat bike.  Those were the best!

Boys

Just a real quick layout about David's Dad and his adventures in attending auctions.  He is now a proud owner of a street cleaning machine.  Let us know if you ever need your street cleaned, we'll be right over after we wrench on it to get it working.

Boston

A little heavy on the layouts today, but I wanted to post all my Boston layouts at once.  Last year for Easter the girls and I joined David at the beginning of business trip.  We weren't there for very long but we packed in a lot of site seeing.  My favorite was the USS Constitution, it was being prepared to go into dry dock so it was missing it's masts and the insides had been cleared.  I want to go back when it is fully refurbished so we can see it in all it's glory, what a great piece of history.

Lake of the Ozarks Shootout

We look forward to the shoot out every year, we are lucky that the mouth of our cove is the finish line.  So we basically get front row seats and not all the crowds.  There are always fast boats, high flying planes, friends and good times.

I used a layout sketch from Scrapbook Generation that was a Freebie Friday.  It really made this layout come together quick.

Girls Weekend

Girls weekends are always the best and so worth the time and effort it takes to bring five girls that all live in different cities together!  It gets harder and harder to do this because of all our busy schedules. But these ladies are the best because we make it work!  Love them!

Snow Fun

How about some snow photos to help cool off the weather.  It has been a mild summer this year and fall is definitely in the air.  BUT the snow could hold off till next year please!

Tractor rides with Grandpa that is what childhood is made of.  Allison definitely loves to ride in the tractor any time she gets, she is even known to take a nap while riding.  Ashley fights it but will still do it and ends up having fun.

Hay!

Wow it's been awhile since I sat down and completed an layout for our family books.  I have been working on finishing up our 2014 family vacation mini album. Allison took her Daddy to a dance and had a ball.  She talks about the Daddy Daughter dances all year long.

Hay and more hay.  We are in the middle of our second cutting this year so it seems only fitting that I did a page on last year, our first year. Now we just need to sell the bales!  It is nice to have the land next door for fun; riding four wheelers, hay rides, garden and orchard.  But the best part is we can make a little money off of it too!

More layouts

Ahh the annual GBS lake weekend last year was so fun.  One of the many memories will be Ann and Tim's boat breaking down and us coming to the recuse to haul them back to the dock.  It was funny watching them try to signal to us that they needed help, lots of arm waiving.  The best part was we knew they needed help and could not get to them right away and the panic in their boat just grew.  Lots more arm waiving.  Cale came to the rescue and fixed it!
These two love each other and hate each other just as much.  If they can play together they have a blast and come up with some pretty amazing games and imaginative play...but oh does it take awhile to get there.  Allison just adores her big sister, I just wish I could say the same for the big sister.

St. Pat's

Summer is here along with not getting a lot done in the memory keeping area.  Oh well.  I did sit down and finish up this layout from St. Patrick's Day 2015.  Ann and Tim, our usual party hosts, took a few years off while they built a house, so we graciously agreed to host it.  I have total respect for Ann and Tim, the planning , food and laundry is a huge undertaking with a full house!

Halloween

A quick layout using some papers I picked up at my last visit to Scrapbook Generation.  This might be Ashley's last year dressing up.  It was HARD to get her to pick out a costume, she just wanted to look pretty and not really dress up.  The lure of the candy just might get her to do it one more year.  We shall see.

Eckerts

A quick layout using a Scrapbook Generations super savers kit.  I have been going to Eckerts for as long as I can remember.  I can remember field trips there in grade school to go apple picking and pumpkin picking.  I've been with the Girl Scouts and had bonfires.  So what a treat to take my kids there and let them enjoy it to!

More layouts!

This past Saturday was National Scrapbooking Day.  Who knew we got a holiday!  My local scrapbook store was having a sale so I had to go :)  I ended up picking up quite a few collections knowing what photos I had ready to scrapbook.  One of the papers was this paint splatter from Photo Play Paper Company to use with this exact photo.  I love when a layout come together this quickly.

Another quick layout thanks to a super saver kit from Scrapbook Generation.  Just a couple of photos of our garden harvest last summer.

Hello.......

I am not sure I remember how to post here.  Sorry for the long gap, but I have just now started working on my 2015 scrapbook.  I have been busy finishing up half complete projects; Vegas 40th birthday and a couple of December Dailies.  I also got Ashley and Allison's school albums current.  So now I can concentrate on 2015!

A two page layout using a Scrapbook Generation super saver layout.   A cute layout of all the girls this past summer at Big Cedar.  So grateful for the Schmidts that lets us come visit them on vacation.

Race Day

A couple of quick layouts using some old Studio Calico kits.

I am bound and determined to get rid of some piles in my office.  Which means finishing some projects.  I am so close to finishing my 2014 yearly album!!!!  Once I have that complete I need to work on Ashley's 3rd grade entry in her school album.  She is half way done with 4th so I need to get on that.  Then I need to finish up my December daily albums and then there are three vacation albums that need to get started.  I can do this!

More Layouts

When I was at my local scrapbook store this weekend, I picked up this winter line by Echo Park with these frozen lake photos in mind.  I had a few hours yesterday and I quickly put this one together.  Seeing the lake all frozen over was really cool.  I think it had been at least 20 years since it had happened.  I wanted so bad to walk out into the middle of the channel but Dave wouldn't let me, probably for the best.  But how cool would that have been!

Another quick layout using a Studio Calico kit.  Allison is a lefty and it sometimes hard to teach her things being a righty.  David was showing her how to shoot his bb gun, the photo on the right was after a successful hit to a can.

Super Saver Layouts

This weekend I sneaked away to my local scrapbook store Scrapbook Generation to do their super saver layouts.  Then, the best part, I got to put photos to them Sunday afternoon.  I typically don't have photos from Valentines Day so pictures of my girls seemed perfect for these pages.
