Bow and Arrow

Ashley asked Santa for a bow and arrow (Christmas 2010) and he did not deliver so David promised her one for good behavior.  Well finally by Fall 2011 she got one.  She's not a bad shot, she hits the target more times than not.

Ehhh that's how I feel about this layout...but it's done and all I need to do is add some journaling, probably what I just wrote above.  I used my Studio Calico June Kit So Cal.

Our Garden

Dave has two raised beds and the harvest is starting to come in like crazy.  We have already enjoyed broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, potatoes, zucchini, squash and lots and lots of strawberries.  We made strawberry jam earlier this year and canned some pickles this week.  The cucumbers are going to be crazy.  I hope all our family and friends like pickles because we are going to have lots!  Tonight I need to use up two eggplants....yum yum.  The tomatoes are getting close and I can't wait from some fresh pico de gallo!

The girls absolutely love to be with David in the garden.  They follow his every move and can't wait to eat it all fresh out of the garden.  What a great way to be introduced to vegetables.

Scrapbooking

A quick layout from a Super Savers Scrapbooking Session at Scrapbook Generation.  I love it, so quick and easy.  This was Aidan's 4th birthday and of course the kid is already 5. Oh well one more for the books.

Fishing

A quick layout from a CK convention 2011 15 minute pages class.  I did the bones in class and then just added the finishing touches...so so easy.  I have a few more birthday layouts to do the same way!

Fun Run

I have been on a mini scrapbooking roll.  At least one layout a week, thanks to less TV in the summer!  I used my May Studio Calico kit 35mm and my own design for a change.

This was the second year Ashley did the fun run at my parents church's Oktoberfest.  The first time I think she got 2nd but they didn't hand out metals that year (first year).  If she does it again this year she will move up in the age brackets so it will be interesting to see if she can keep placing.

Kindergarten

Ashley's 1st day of Kindergarten and her last!  Wow what an adventure.  Mrs. Shelangoski was awesome and Ashley thought the world of her.  We will miss her but onto 1st grade we go!
