Steam Engine Show

David loves to attend the Steam Engine show every year in Republic, MO, I think it is like Christmas to him. This year it was a mud pit but we made the best of it and had a good time.  I used my Studio Calico October kit Roller Rink (yeah me!) and a free 8x10 Walgreens collage that I just picked up.

Ha Ha Tonka

Yeah another layout with my Studio Calico October kit Roller Rink...now I won't feel bad when my November kit shows up next week.

I love this place....for as long as I can remember, trips to Lake of the Ozarks always included trips to Ha Ha Tonka.  On this day we didn't get to explore a lot but we got to see the most beautiful part, the spring.  I can remember as a kid jumping off the cliffs into the cold spring water....yeah you can't do that anymore.  The castle is a hike straight up the hill, maybe next time we make the trip.

Allison's Baptism

 Another layout done for Ms. Allison's Baby Album....which I need to get back into and finish her 1st year up.  Ay yi yi the list of to dos is long!  I used some new MME that I picked up at my LSS not to long ago.

Happy Birthday Allison

My baby turned two this weekend.  She got to have a great party at Grandpa and Grandma's with a bounce house.  Do you know how hard it is to get a bunch of kids looking at a camera in a bounce house?  Not easy I tell you, this one seemed the best....if only I was good at photo shop I could take the best photo of each one out of the series and make one great photo!  I will do an update post on Allison soon! Since I am actually blogging something current....we also got to Trunk or Treat this weekend. Allison takes her basket everywhere, she doesn't let it out of her site.  I think she likes Halloween so far!

Thanksgiving

A layout with my Studio Calico October kit Roller Rink which I needed to use before I receive my November kit next week.  My rule is to use a kit before the next one comes....or I need to think about canceling my subscription.  So at least one layout is done and I still have a couple of days left.

Jessie

I finally finished these layouts that have been sitting on my desk for over a week.  I used my Studio Calico August kit Summer of '69.  I don't love it because I really wanted to document this day with excellence, but it's done!

Jessie's bachlorette party was a blast, even though the Cardinals lost to the Cubs. boooo!  Thanks to all my best girlfriends for letting a breast feeding mom whose baby won't take a bottle make the trip. The best part was getting to spend time with all my favorite ladies. I miss you all...WE NEED TO HAVE A GIRLS VACATION!
