Go!

It wouldn't be fair to do a layout about Ashley on the four wheeler and not follow up with Allison.  This was the same day.  Allison got this battery powered four wheeler from Grandma and Grandpa Cowan for Christmas two years ago.  She loves to putt around on it!

I used my June Studio Calico Roundabout kit and this layout by Shannon Tidwell for inspiration.

4 wheeler

It's sketch week on Allison Davis blog and I played along again this month.  I used my March Studio Calico Neverland kit.  This is the second go, the first set of background papers I started with just wasn't making me happy so I switched up to these lighter colors.  Much happier.

Ashley got her pink 4 wheeler from Santa three years ago and she just keeps getting better and better with it.  Last year she mainly road it in Grandpa's hay fields just so she had lots of room to master the steering, throttle and breaks.  This year she follows David on the trails around our house.  I think she actually enjoys it, because she asks all the time to ride.  Go Ashley Go!

Trinity

Another layout with my June Studio Calico kit Roundabout and I used this layout by Nicole Samuels for inspiration.

Trinity LOVES to fetch at the lake. She could go non stop and swim the whole time we are there.  She can get quite annoying by constantly shoving her flying squirrel in your face then barking until you toss it.  Even as Trinity gets up in age she still loves to fetch either at home with a Frisbee or at the lake.  You would never know she is not a puppy.  We love her!

Summer

A fun layout I did last week but am just now getting to blog.  The kids really took to tubing last year and we spent many of weekends watching them tube.  Just this weekend Dave had to pull Ashley and Aidan outside of the wake to beat them up more so they would want to stop :)...and it worked.  I used my Studio Calico June kit Roundabout and this layout by ania-maria for inspiration.

Ashley Layout

Not my favorite layout in the book but one of my favorite subjects.  Ashley is a character and this series of photos proves it.  She loves to sing and dance!  I used my Studio Calico May kit Planetarium.  My June kit is due on my doorstep today!

New Glasses

So Ashley was doomed, and so is Allison.  David and I both have bad eyes, my parents, my grandparents, Dave's mom and grandparents so it kinda runs in the family.  Well Ashley was tested at school and she failed so off to the eye doctor we went.  Well guess what, yep she needs glasses for distance.  This picture is the very first day she got them.  She actually looks pretty cute in them and doesn't fuss to much about wearing them.

I scraplifted this layout by Danielle and used my Studio Calico May kit Planetarium.  I need to get a few more layouts in with this kit before my June kit arrives...eek!

Making: A two page layout about Ashley dancing to Call me Maybe

Feeling:  Frustrated that my kids can't get in the groove of being home for the summer

Planing: Cowan Family vacation (can we find a condo to rent????)

Loving:  The weather, its warmed up but still not summer hot yet!
