National Tiger Sanctuary

I found some time this week to play along with Allison Davis sketch week and used this great sketch.

 

I used my Studio Calico September kit Double Scoop.

The National Tiger Sanctuary is a must see.  If you are ever near the Branson/Springfield area make the time to stop in and see the tigers.  I had heard about the place and put it on my mental to do list and then a Groupon (or something similar) came up and I jumped at the chance to buy 2 for 1 tickets.  We made the trip on a Friday when Ashley was out of school.  The tour guide we had was very knowledgeable about the animals and even knew their habits, likes, dislikes etc.  All of the animals were rescued from homes of people who no longer wanted them or retired show animals.  It was amazing how up close you could get to these animals, we were within 3 to 5 feet....so cool!  I know we will definitely be returning.
